_______________________________
1. What is a procedure? Give an example below.
2. What different methods of communicating a procedure are you
aware of?
3. You should now develop a procedure that will help to implement a workplace sustainability policy and communicate this to the next of the group. Think about the method communicating this procedure.
i) Procedures are fundamentally sequential actions that are outlined to perform the work. In the business zone, all company functions can be splited into groups named processes. These processes are the creating structures for the procedures of the company.Generally the procedures don’t alter and are executed in the same order to provide systemized and regular end outcomes.
Example
In a business world, the procedures should be understandable and leave little grey-space to staff explication. The features of an understandable procedure would be fact-driven, brief, real, manual, and applicable.
Jenny is given a new employee guide that gives her thorough steps on how to register a cnosumer and input their details. There are main processes she must do in a definite method. Specific paper work must be presented within limited time slots. If the documents are not submitted on time may result a loss of benefit for the business and a loss of service to the consumer.
The informational guide showing her the way to adequately finish the process is a procedure; it provides her specific times to perform the duties and doesn’t leave much space for explanations.
ii). The common methods of communicating processes to the employees
of an organization, are guides, trainings and tutorials. They can
excecute the procedures to get the company’s targets.Besides this
there are some other methods of communicating a procedure like
verbal communication, written communication, oral communication,
face to face communication, non verbal and visual
communication.
iii). To maintain the sustainability enterprises, an organization requires productive procedures that staff and others can follow to assure everyone involve.
