your client Diane has been hospitalized with jaundice , abdominal pain ,nausea and vomiting.( abdomen) i need nursing care plan , ( 2 diagnosis ,2 care plans)
Jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting:
The symptoms looks suitable for Yellow fever. This can be occurs if there is too much Bilirubin in your system. This can also indicate serious problem in you liver or in pancreas. Like Liver abscess, liver cancer,pancreatic cancer, Hepititis, Sickle cell anemia, gallstones, alcoholic liver disease also can cause it. Jaundice should be monitor and treated carefully as it is related to brain also. Other symptoms can be fever and yellowish eyes and skin.
Diagnosis
A. Blood tests:
Blood tests will reveal the amount of bilirubin present in the blood, Liver functions, CBC.
B. Vital signs
Temperature, heart rate, respiration rate,blood pressure and changes in eyes and skin color.
