Is organ transplantation possible for liver cirrhosis patients? Explain the reason of your answer.
Liver Cirrhosis is a condition in why dysfunctioning of livers occurs, in this the normal liver tissue is being replaced by scar tissue. It generally occurs person having problem of Hepatitis A and C and generally addicted with alcohol. The damage occur generally with the time span in days ranging from months to years. It is irreversible in some cases it can be treated/delayed by providing proper medication of the person, in some cases of hepatitis vaccination might also help and providing him balanced diet and he has to avoid the consumption of alcohol and other drugs. If the situation gets worsen day by day then we will have option of liver transplantation which is possible way to eradicate the risk of death and generally increase life expectancy. So, yes we can say that organ transplantation is possible for such patients. Transplantation necessitates the use of immune suppressants and by maintaining healthy life style and medication.
