Which spinal segments have gray communicants? Which have white rami?
Grey Ramus Communicants:
*Consist of dendrites and neuron cell bodies, unmyelinated axons, and neuroglia.
*Form an ''H'' shape in the center of the grey commissure within which cerebrospinal fluid-filled space called the central canal is located.
White Ramus Communicants:
*Consists primarily of myelinated axons which extend the length of the cord.
*Allows for various levels of the Central Nervous System to communicate
