Solutions

Expert Solution

Differences between fascist perpetrated genocides and the mass killing produced by the atomic bombs:

Fascist genocides involved cruel soldiers who brutally killed people through physical and mental tormenting.

These genocides used to take time due to physical involvement of soldiers.

On the other hand, what USA did in mass killing through atomic bombs was quite destructive and momentary. Atomic bombs led killings gave no time to masses in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan), even time to understand what happened to them. It swept and engulfed the whole city.

Do you think it is correct from a legal and moral point of view to consider both events war crimes?

Yes, it is correct to consider both events as war crimes.

Reason: (A)From legal point of view, both events led to killing of innocent people in mass.

(B)From moral point of view, both incidents lacked moral values such as peacefulness, compassion & love for others.
