Non-killing religions are those which basically do not support the killing of humans. Such religions advocate peace and harmony in each and every part of this globe. Such religions remain against of violence.

It can be understood through an example. There is a famous saying in Christianity that if someone hits you on one cheek then you should give your second cheek to him/her. We should not take support of violence because it always reduces chances of improvement of someone. Paying violence with violence should not be adopted.

Killing religion is one religion which provides extreme importance to some command and violence is being considered as suitable method for following up of that command. In such religion, the killing or the murder is considered appropriate.

This may happen due to wrong interpretation of various quotes in that particular religion. Killing religion is mainly associated with modern day terrorism. In such religion the extremist actions are favored for accomplishment of a specific task.

Wrong interpretation of teachings are mainly responsible for prevalence of violence in such religion.
