There are 8 dietary components that must be monitored and/or controlled in dietary treatment for kidney disease.

"How do PROTEIN and SODIUM summarize the following questions":

1. Write a summary regarding the role of the components (Protein & Sodium) in kidney disease including each question below: The format should be as if you were writing this for a patient with kidney disease- so they can easily understand the information in layman terms.

A. How does the component affect the kidneys?

B. How the dietary component should be modified in regards to kidney disease. In other words, what are the clients needs for this component, should the patient eat more or less of this, should they avoid it, eat more, etc?

C. How should the dietary component be monitored during kidney disease treatment and management?

D. What benefits will the patient receive with these component modifications and changes to their diet?

Protein and sodium plays an important role in the maintanence of body.Protein helps in development of muscel mass and maintanence of sodium is necessary for controlling blood pressure and heart health.

A)Taking required amount of sodium and protein helps us as it controls buildup of waste and fluids in body. Which means that kidneys does not have to work hard to clean the waste.And protein helps in fighting infection.So if these components are used in required amount then they will help the kidneys and also help fight infections.

B)The body needs protiens,minerals and vitamins to develop and function.But there should be limit of consumption because over consumption causes several problems in body. People suffering from kidney disease should take necessary amount of proteins and sodium because of they take the required amount it will help the kidneys in its function but if taken excessively they will cause more problems for kidneys.

If protein is taken more than necessary in amount it will cause strain to kidneys to clear it because it has to work hard.And of sodium is taken excessively it will cause imbalance the delicate balance which reduced the ability of kidneys to remove water from body.

So the kidney patients should eat less amount of sodium and protein.

C)The patient while suffering from kidney diseases should always monitor his/her dietery consumption because some foods may be difficult for kidney.

The patient should always check food labels while eating.Should eat fresh fruits and vegetables and should have close attention to the serving sizes.Proccessed food should be avoided.And meals should be home cooked and salt should be avoided.A meal should be limited with 4000mg of salt.

While taking protein the quality should be seen and should maintain the amount explained by the neurologist.

D)If the diet managed according to their condition sodium and protein help maintain the control of buildup waste and fluids which help kidneys an dthey also help in fight the infections.
