Expert Solution

Not everyone knows about the diseases and drugs they take as a patient. In this case the patient is disturbed by her disease condition and wants to try different remedies to solve her issues. She is maintaining adherence to drug and having proper diet to improve her health and also takes a natural herb withouy physicians knowledge to relieve symptoms by taking information from Wikipedia .

Her health literacy is average as she doesn't not know that she should inform her doctor before taking any unprescribed drug and also not aware of the medical website where she should search for her queries regarding diseases.

The patient must be advised to not to take any over the counter medicines because it can be fatal by causing drastic biochemical changes. Although AloeVera is know for its anti oxidant ,anti inflammatory ,anti bacterial properties these are not scientifically proven for the particular disease. It might have caused some severe reactions if it had any biochemical changes with the allopathy medicine she was taking . So, it's better to take medicine only under physicians knowledge.
