Tools that helps to asses an elder in the community

Mainly there are 2 tools

1. Medical

2. Non medical

Medical

This includes the assessment of physical health by the amount of medicines used by the elder or no use of medications. Also different tests like ECG, stress test and CBC can be a helpful in assessing an elder

Non medical

Here, the elder is assessed by non medical aspects of his life like how he's coping with the age , how's his immunity, how's his tolerance to stress during activities and so on .
