What are some of the challenges identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) in bringing universal health care to countries around the world?
Universal Health Care:
Healthcare is the most basic needs which the government is obliged to fulfill. Most of the developed countries have already provided free healthcare for the citizens which are necessary for the holistic development of the humankind. In the current global scenario, people are being more and more aware of their rights and are participating more in the political processes directly or indirectly.
The access under the Universal Health Care is different from other models of care such as IPA, PPO and POS in following ways.
IPA: list of independent physicians who are hired on negotiated rate to provide to provide health care facilities in a given area with the sole purpose to invent and implement healthcare solution.
PPO: Under Preferred provider organizations model the insurer had the flexibility to visit ant physician or hospital not under the PPO network but the insurer had to pay the difference in the price of network and out-of-network physician as the insurance company has not negotiated discount rate with out of PPO network physicians.
POS: In point of service plan the individuals are required to designate an in-network physician to be his/her primary health care provider.
Access to free healthcare is no more a luxury for the individual but it originates from individual's 'right to life' which is the most basic fundamental right. American health system prior to the introduction of universal health care was very expensive, with one-fourth population without any health insurance policy. With spending on health per capita rising and most people not wanting to be “taxed more” for the refined health care for all the Americans, there was problem of health care for all Americans. Universal health care provides universal health coverage to all the citizens of United States without any discrimination on any ground.
Now with the introduction of Universal Health Care adequate measure has been taken by the government to make the health care system to be accessible to all irrespective of income, race or health cover.
The merits and demerits of universal health care are as follows.

World Health Organization (WHO) universal health care challenges around world wide:
According the World Health Organization ratings of overall health, Canada ranks on a better position than US (Canada is 30th and US 37th). If an American is uninsured it does not mean there isn’t a place he could receive health care, there are nonprofit hospitals that serves those who don’t have insurance.
Universal health care like most things have good things and bad things we need to make a balance of pros and cons and take a decision if it will be more effective or it will cause more damage than good.
If we look at statistics the number of people uninsured has been growing each year, the last update was 4.5 million people who do not possess an insurance, question is why?
The problem is that business and individuals can no longer afford it, as simple as that. If the business spends more money on insurance then it will not have enough money for new hires or giving raises. If the individuals spend more money for premiums they will have less money for food or rent. If we had universal health care individuals will have an easier time to start their own business and organizations would have more money to hire employees
If we had a universal health care system then we would have a national data bases that will make doctors work easier because all the records will be available in one place instead of looking at separate records, also the doctors will have more time to do their job instead of wasting time with insurance procedures
And to me one of the most important positive thing would be that patients with preexisting conditions would still get health coverage, right now if you go to an insurance company and you report having a specific disease they will not give you coverage
We have discuss the pros of universal health care, now let’s discuss some of the cons
Most of the people have the perspective that government agencies do not work efficiently and making health care universal will be an operational disaster. It really isn`t free because you have to pay taxes to receive treatment. Because the government would have the control of the health care then the flexibility will decrease because in order to reduce cost a patient will be told to go a specific doctor or clinic, with regular insurance you get to choose.
