Organizational culture is the values and behavior which is contributing to an organization by the employer and employees. The barries caused by an organizational culture are

1. organizational rules and policies

- Nurses are bound with the rules, policies. These rules and policies are made by the higher authorities. If the nurse leader do not follow it will be problem for the future or job. During this time the nurse leader lost her power to follow the rules and policies of the organization. now a day in some hospitals or organizations, for the management meeting or conference they do not give any role of nurse leader. This leads to difficulty id expressing the need of the nurses by the nurse leader.

2. hierarchical position

- Due to the presence of a high level of the hierarchical tree in the organization, if the nurse leader wants to decision then there is a need to take approval from the higher hierarchical person. This leads to delay in taking the proper communication due to prolong the process. This leads to the nurse leader as a powerless for taking any decision.

3. Socio-cultural diversities in the organization

If the organization is so diverse for different cultures. If the colleague are not listening to the decision of the nurse leader because of a different culture or among the organization making of group base on the similarity of the culture. This leads to difficulty in managing the organization by the leader and difficult to control. There will be no use of having a leader if the workers do not listen and not able to control them.

4. Lack of organizational facilities

The organization should provide various kind of facilities like making the nurse leader to involve in decision making, telephone, stationery, computer, etc. to share the information or to communicate better with the workers or manager. Lack of these facilities is a barrier to proper communication or timely communication with the worker.

4. complex organizational structure

Complex organizational structure means presence of many managerial levels in the organization. This leads to difficult to understand to whom the nurse leader to approach and share the decision or information that is needed. And because of many managerial people leads to control of nurse leader from different side leads to feel powerless.
