Canada is a multinational state containing many cultures and languages. A state with many cultures, language can never be called as a single society. So we can call that Canda contains many societies within.

As the Canadians are members of civic and political community, we can call them a single community of citizens, but this single community contains many other communities within it. So we can't call Canada a single society or community.

A society may be made on the basis of religion, Class, colour, ethnicity and etc. Canada is having many societies within. The country which contains different culture language and etc are called as multinational state.

Canada is home to people of different, religion, race, ethnicity and etc. So without any doubt we can tell that Canada is not a single society but a union of many societies.
