  • I am able to present how I view things to physicians better. I am not afraid to speak up and say what I think because I feel I have more knowledge to present to them in a proper way. I know now that I have to do a little research and be prepared not only to say what I think is wrong but to offer solutions
  • I gained a lot of leadership skills from the RN–BSN program, which were what I was looking for. We talked about how you might handle certain situations like a conflict with peers, visitors, or families. It also raised my awareness as far as what the budget is, what the bottom line is, and how much things cost and trying to keep the costs down so that we can still do our job, do it well, and protect our patients at the same time

  • The community health course was completely different from anything we do in the hospital. To see how people function on the outside really blew my mind, but I think it also opened my mind to other things. I’m more conscious of their home situation no
