what type of pain does the RN expect when a client has pain following a heart attack?
A registered nurse should expect a light pain or a pressure is felt in the chest cavity that quicky goes away in discreet successions also called as fleeting pain. One a patient has had a heart attack, the probability of the same patient getting another heart attack is higher. The regietered nurse must also look for associated complications and perform pain assessments as angina, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat can be observed in a patient who has suffered a heart attack.
