Expert Solution

1.Fitness is a state of being of healthy and suitability to a position.

Benefits of fitness

Weight reduction: it helps the person to reduce weight and maintain weight. It helps to release energy as equal to energy consumption. There by it prevents obesity

Builds stronger bone and muscles: it helps to build the stronger bones and helps to avoid loss of mass while advancing age. It helps to strengthen the muscle

Reduce occurrence of some of the illness: it reduce occurrence of the cancer and cardio respiratory illness by increasing circulation of blood and oxygen

Increase in life span: it helps to increasing in lifespan by reducing leading causes of death

Mental health: it helps to increase focus concentration in activities thereby reducing the psychological issues. it keeps the person to feel relax and improves sleep

Reduce addictive symptoms: it helps to reduce addictive symptoms by reducing craving of addictive symptoms and withdrawal symptoms of addictive symptoms

2. Cardio respiratory conditioning is exercise of both aerobic and anaerobic uses oxygen to maintain activity and never uses oxygen for short burst of high intense activity respectively

Benefits of cardio respiratory functioning

It helps to reduce the risk of heart disease and improve circulation and reduce the cholesterol in the arteries

It improves of blood circulation and oxygen supply throughout the cardio respiratory and reduces muscle

It helps to increase blood supply and oxygen to the brain thereby prevent the stroke and carotid artery occlusion due to atherosclerosis

It improves lung capacity and able to conserve energy in intense activity

It increase well being of person

It reduces blood pressure and helps to control glucose by utilizing of glucose in the peripheral tissue of the body

It improves sleep by focusing concentration on exercise and use of muscle for exercise

3. The factors that influence of the body use of glucose during physical activity:

Use of glucose by the body depends on the factors which are activity, illness, age, diet, duration of activity, intensity of an activity, body composition.

Activity: the use of glucose by the body depends on the activity such as simple activity reduces blood circulation or pump out of blood from the heart that limits the glucose usage.

Age: different age requires different carbohydrate amount diet. Old age tends to do exercise according to their capacity thereby it reduces the glucose usage of by the body tissue. Whereas the young person tend to do more exercise and usage of glucose by the body

Illness: the certain illness that limit the use of glucose by the body tissue. In diabetes mellitus that limits use of glucose in the absence of insulin receptor

Body composition: obesity tends to reduce glucose usage because of inability to do active physical exercise in comparison to body comparison. Thin person uses more glucose because of less composition of body and active person

Diet: higher the more consumption of carbohydrate mainly simple carbohydrate increase use of glucose by the cells than complex carbohydrates therefore it increase the glucose usage by the cell and less consumption of food causes decrease use of glucose by the body

Duration of an activity: increase of activity over a time causes increase use of glucose by the cells.

Intensity of an activity: increase in physical activity causes in its intensity, increases glucose usage by the cells for example simple walking require less energy than heavy lifting

Factors influence of usage of protein

It depends on the activity, consumption of food, age, type of protein and body composition

Fasting: protein is important part of structure. When fasting times, on empty stomach, the body use protein for energy for compensatory mechanism

Consumption of food: if the patient consumes more protein than carbohydrate. It is used by the body

Diet: if the diet contain animal or plant protein, it affects the use of protein by the body

Body composition: it depends on the body composition. If the body has less composition of structure body, uses less protein. If the body has more composition, it uses more protein in case of fasting.

Age: different age group use protein during an exercise.

Illness: protein usage during the physical activity depends on type of illness.

Healthy diet for athletic performance

Diet plays an important role to improve immune system, get energy, and reduce illness. For better performance, consumption of better diet is important.

Carbohydrate: diet should have complex carbohydrate than simple carbohydrate. Simple carbohydrate is absorbed by the body. Complex carbohydrates is absorbed slowly from the body

Protein: the protein either plant or animal sources is better performance. In case of plant source, the protein should be fortified. Plant sources has limited essential acids than animal sources such as nuts

Fat: the diet contains Trans fat is to be restricted. Because its absorption from is delayed and produce more calories. It makes the athlete sleep. Monounsaturated fat is encouraged such as nuts, seeds

It has been suggested to use energy conservation food mainly whole grains breads, rice, vegetable, salads, peanut butter, and boiled eggs. Fresh fruits, lean beef, dairy products such as milk, vegetable soup

On the day of competition, the meals should be smaller, restrict fat containing foods such as dairy products, fat containing foods because it s absorption is slow and include the fibrous products

Question 11 (1 point) Cardiorespiratory fitness is widely recognized as a major component of overall physical well-being. Direct measurement of maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) is the single best measure of such fitness, but direct measurement is time-consuming and expensive. It is therefore desirable to have a prediction equation for VO2max in terms of easily obtained quantities. A sample is taken and variables measured are age (years), time necessary to walk 1 mile (mins), and heart rate at the end of...
