what do you believe are the five (5) most important concepts that every person should know about the future of energy? (e.g. GDP + Population growth = Energy Demand, difference between ‘growth’ vs ‘market share’, carbon pricing schemes, et al). This list is your vision, but please be sure to explain the value of each concept and why you selected it as a Top 5! Remember, blend specific course material with your own ideas. Tie in names of people/stakeholders and content we’ve covered! You may include concepts not yet covered in the course but be sure to provide research support or links to sources if it helps us as graders.

Energy is very important for our life. At present we are dependent on various commercial and non commercial, renewable and non-renwable source of energy. The 5 concept every person should know about future of energy are as follows:-

  1. Increase in population increases demand for energy
  2. More/ excessive extraction causes extinction
  3. Inefficient uses leads to wastage
  4. Underutilized resources
  5. Investing in renewable energy gives long term returns

The reason behind choosing this 5 pints are that these are common but very important points. This five points will explain what are the importance of energy why it is falling short what are the main reasons, how we will get it in future continuously.

Discription of points briefly

1. Increase in population increases demand for energy. The increasing population or increase in uses of energy increases the demand which may also lead in increase in prices of demand since as the demand increases the price also increases so this poor section people with faces difficulties as they were not able to manage. whole world population is dependent on energy each and every person requires / connected with energy. if there is increase in demand so it may be possible that some section of people will deprived with proper energy supply.

2. More / excessive extraction may cause extinctions. As there is increase in demand show the companies who own supply of energy will start extracting more and more to fill the demand this may also leads to over extraction and main resource get extinct or completely finished. Let's take an example of petroleum is a fossil fuel which is non renewable if it is extracting continuously without keeping mine that it may get vanish so it will get completely finish so the future generation may not be able to use petrol as a fuel for energy. This may affect many industry which are dependent on petroleum as a fuel and many vehicles become of no use which is a huge loss for whole world.

3. Inefficient use leads to wastage. If generated energy is not used properly so it may get waste this wastage will make whole the effort (money, time , assets ,etc ) of no use/ meaningless. Many small small wastage main cause a huge waste this is is not only loss for firm, individual but loss of whole world.

4. Underutilized resources. Many energy resources are underutilized such as geothermal, tidal energy nuclear energy hydrogen etc. This energy resources are able to meet demand of energy but as per present condition we are not able to get 100% of are required energy from this sources. Many of this sources are excellent and sustainable which may not only helps us but also helps in future generation using of this energy for developing technologies to use it may change the world.

5. Investing in in renewable energy will give long term returns. Renewable energy sources are most continuous and eco friendly sources of energy however it make takes huge expense for installation but it may give long term returns as it gives supply of energy for many years. It may also required some maintenance, provide excellent energy supply without even damaging environment. It is eco-friendly as well as productive so it have profits in both ways.

Energy and Waste Do you believe that the government should establish a national energy policy? If so, how would you construct this policy? Would you emphasis non-renewable energy (oil, natural gas, coal) or renewable energy (solar, hydro, thermal)? If not, how would you address our current energy issues?
