Expert Solution

The morphological changes that occur in an organ plays a significant role in determining the clinical features, course and the prognosis of the disease.

The morphological changes in an organ is the change in the shape, size, and structure of the cells and tissues which occurs due to the pathogenesis stage of the disease. These changes are either visible through naked eyes or by the help of the microscope. These morphological changes affects the normal functioning of the organ and thus determines the clinical features, course, and prognosis of the disease. These changes interferes with the normal cell processes of the organ and thus contributes to the progress of the disease. These morphological changes could be degenerative or infiltrative in nature.

They disturbs the normal cellular machinery of the organ and therefore determines the clinical features, course, and prognosis of the disease.
