Please describe what Kluver Bucy Syndrome is (Henrich Kluver & Paul Bucy) explain how the Bi-Lateral removal of the Temporal lobes in the monkey revealed information about sensory input and emotional effects.
Kluver bucy syndrome is a cerebral neurogical disorder which is due to damage in both the temporal lobes of brain the function of temporal lobes of brain are creating memory ,sexual desires , making the sensory information worth to be relayed in the brain when it is damaged seizures are induced, memory loss occur,no desire to reproduce uncontrolled appetite for food , urge to put everything in te mouth ,visual distractibility and dimentia
As due to this syndrome seizures takes place so by bilateral removal of temporal lobes can relieve from that bus as for side effects like -it gives strong emotion effects to monkey extreme excitement etc eat everything wheater edible or not and if edible eat it with strong emotional movements the sensory inputs are decreased and destroyed too as the monkey cannot identify if something is edible or not or to be eaten even after experiencing all the things the monkey will still try all the things . So the emotion function increase and sensory function decreases
