How should our healthcare system approach social justice in marginalized communities and what solutions can be recommended?
The marginalized community are the people who is deprived of all the rights and resources .There are many policies to reachout for their needs. However, the truth is most of these communities are not getting any benefit out of it.Health care system have great role to extend their helping hands to such communities. There should be certain golden rules to approach everyone in need regardless of their community.Being healthy is a right of every human being ,so everybody should be valued equally.Health care should make sure that everyone is getting the health status and finally eradicate health disparities.
The good health is the basic right of every person, equal distribution of all health facilities without considering and community base.
Equal right to be shared even the right to have good and optimum health. For example, prenatal care .
Basic principles of social justice are:
1.Access: Equality access to everyone in all aspects of health and life.
2.Equity:Finding solutions for the unqual access to the services.
3.Rights:Make sure equal rights and participation in all dimensions of life like politics, education, legal etc.
4.Participation:Chance to participate in all governing bodies of nation.
These has to be followed in all sectors of the Government which will helps to eradicate social injustice.
There are lot of health disparities like geography, socioeconomic status, race and ethnicity, communication etc.
Healthcare should put a step forward to kill all these disparities from the workplace and aswell from the communities. This can be done by improving the quality of care provided for all and by promoting equality in the health care sector everyone have right to get good health and service. There should be greater investment to the health policies and helping the marginalised communities. The health care should aid the government to start regulatory policies to limit the impact of lifestyle behavioral risks.Expanding health insurance to all is also be a great option to reduce disparities.
