Expert Solution

Evidence based Practice(EBP) focused to increase the quality of care and patient safety..There are six distinct activities including foemulating questions, searching for information, implementing evidence and evaluating the resullting practices and compiling the appraised information..To increases (RNs) practice of EBP.variables sholud be explored..this study focus on examine individual and organizational factors associated with EBP activities among 2years post graduation RN2..Data from swedish longitudinal analysis study consist of 1256 RNs..987 RNs worked in health care at the time of the data collection..EBP activites measured using six single items measuring individual and work-related variables..Capability beliefs in six activities working in the case of older people associated with four activities, supportive leadership and high collective efficacy with three activities..Health professionals are expected to iplement evidence into their daily clinical practice..
RNs practice of EBP can be assumed to have a major impact on patient's outcomes and patient safety..Nurse with master degree having higher extent to EBP compared with lower qualification RNs ..EBP practice implementing confidence, organizational culture, job satisfaction in a community hospitals system in US..Junior clinical nurse having more barrier than senior one..and also education level, experience and beliefs, supportive leadership.organizational climate and access to resource demonstrated practice of EBP..
Dependent Variables:
Six single items as we mentioned before developed based on EBP process.including critical clinical questions, knowledge in data base and other information sources like discussing with colleagues, critically appraising and compiling best knowledge finally implementing EBP practice..
EBP activites using a four-point response format(1=to a very low extend,2=to a low extent, 3= to a high extent, 4= to a very high extent)using this items in group of RNs with expertise in EBP it is rating between 0.8 to 1.0 indicate good content validity..in addition, professional instrument developers from technical and language, laboratory at statistics analysis shows low extent and high extent with this six items..
Independent variables:
National health service (NHS) framework developed to examine patient outcomes with independent variables..this framework already used in longitudinal analysis of nursing Education (LANE) to identify individual, work contextual and educational determianats of research utilization in RNs..This framework having elements like work context, management of people and performance, individual perceptions of work, behaviour and experience and patient outcomes..this hypothesis to influence individuals perceptions of their work context..this result in psychological consequences at work forthe employee as a final outcomes impact on staff performance..this study consists of individual and organizational variables and final outcomes are in six EBP activities..
Six items measuring the process of evidence-based practices by Efficacy in the LANE survey,Role clarity assessing psychological, social and measures social support from superiors empowering leadership and fair leadership.Job demands on individual perceptions and subjective evaluations of work demands and control at work is perceptions of the situations at work..Olden burg burnout inventory includes feeling drained of energy and disengagements in one's work and experiencing negative attitudes towards the work in general..
Conclusions:
Strategies to newly graduated RNs to practice skill in EBP..this strategies should focus on individual and organization factors associated with RNs practice of EBP..This EBP factors associated with six EMP activities..still more stratefies to be focused include capacity and competence of managers to facilitate and support RNs in practicing EBP activites..It can interpret the quality of care at a national level..EBP in health care organization sholud not focus on responsibility for higher level staff..

Refresher on Variables: Classifying variables as independent or dependent: The independent variable is the one being manipulated or grouped in the study for comparison. A tip to remember this is to think that independent starts with “I” and I, the researcher, manipulate that variable or have control over who is grouped in the study. The way we will be using independent variables in this course is in terms of between group analysis, so our focus will be on groups being...
