Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being. Our health is affected with various environment factors thus it is very important for us to stay fit and healthy. In an organization the employer must make sure that the employees are provided with good environment and support that encourages their wellbeing.
For a successful health and wellbeing programme, it requires time and commitment.Hence the manager who’s in charge of this situation needs to plan, direct, coordinate with a health care service provider and ensure necessary actions are taken to support the wellbeing of the employees.
Manager is also responsible in managing health care policy and laws in the organization. So a good amount of time goes into developing polices. Since the number of people requiring medical assistance is increasing over the years due to the demographic conditions. Thus there is a frequent changes must be done to the policies.
Thus the managers should posses great deal of skills like leadership, analytical and problem solving skills. Finally the manager should have the commitment to work towards the welfare of its employees.
