In United States(US) constitutional law , wrong statements of reality are an exception from protection of speech under the 1st Amendment . Under the law of US , many falsehoods even some intentional lies or false statements - got the full protection of the first Amendment ; where as the supreme court has always refused to allow Government to discipline speakers for mistakes , sloppy false hoods and lies .

The constitutional law of United states , false statements of fact are exception from protection of free speech under the First Amendment . In their law , a false statement of fact will not be excepted from some criminal or civil penalty , if a law has imposed one . Libel , Slander and statuses are the issues which barred fraudulent solicitation of cheritible donations .  

The recent examples of false speech is fake news . Now-a-days , Fake news is a best platform for the spread of false speech . The United States(US) protects false affirmations because, lest needed leeway is given to people who are trying to speak the truth, Government will begin to silence people for speech it does not accept with and to prove that falsehood is protected .
