Explain three general ethical concerns that should be raised in marketing ethics.
Basic principles and moral values are the main concren of marketing ethics where consumer satisfaction and quality of products are more prioritised than the profit of a company. Marketing ethics allow companies to build strong customer realtionship and stakeholders, loyalty of customers to their products and involve in the production system without causing any harm to the enviornment and the society. Three general ethical concerns that should be raised in marketing ethics are-
a) Not violating the rights of consumers:- The first and foremost concern of marketing ethics should be maintaining consumers' rights by providing each and every information about the product and its quality. Besides price of the product should be also considered while marketing it so that every category of people irrespective of rich and poor can afford it depending its necessity and utility.
b) Abiding by the government rules:- A company who follows ethics in marketing always follows the law of their country set by the gvernment. It pays tax on time, safeguard the society by preventing any harm to the enviornment and does not expoit the natural and public resources racklessly.
c) Creating friendly enviornment to its employees:- People associated with the sales and marketing of a company should be treated by a company well and should not be deprieved of their basic rights and payments. When the employees of an organisation are treated equally driven by moral values and are allowed to take part in marketing decisions, is respected in the society and it has the chance of longetivity in the market for its ethics and basic principles.
