What are some factors that make some people healthy and others ill? Healthy People 2020 identifies five determinants of health that influence the health of individuals and populations. Healthy People 2020 describes them as "a range of personal, social, economic, and environmental factors that influence health status" (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 2014, About Determinants of Health, para. 1). Determinants fall into five categories including: (a) policy making, (b) social factors, (c) health services, (d) individual behavior, and (e) biology and genetics.

I'll : factors are: poverty,drugs,working conditions, unemployment ,social support , transport policy ,poor socioeconomic circumstances.

Healthy people 2020 organises the social determinants of health around five key domains:

1)economic stability.

2) education.

3)health and health care.

4) neighborhood and built environment.

5) social and community context.

Healthy people 2020 highlights the importance of addressing the social determinants of health by including" create social and physical environment that promote good health for all".

Importants of economic stability: It reflects connection between a person's financial resources(eg: Income,cost of living,and socioeconomic status).

Employment status.

Food insecurity.

Housing stability.

Poverty.

From 2010 to 2014 ,the proportion of children aged 17 years and under living with atleast one parent employed year-round,full time.the objective was informational only and on 2020 target was set.
