What to monitor during treatment of IVIg:

IVIg refers to intravenous immunoglobulin. It is used in the treatment of Kawasaki syndrome. It is essential to monitor blood pressure during this treatment because there will be rise in the blood pressure which can lead to serious complications like heart attack or stroke. It can also lead to increase in the blood clots.
