Music is a way of expressing our feelings and emotions so music is considered as an important part of our life. Music is a powerful way which helps in reducing the stress and tension and in the happy moment of life , it makes you cheerful. Thus music helps in developing the mind and boosts the self confidence .Music is the greatest creativity in the purest form.

Importance of Music

1. Music helps in expressing our emotions and feelings

When we play the music through an instrument, it actually reflects our thoughts or feelings without speaking any single word. This music actually conveys our thoughts or feelings. As pera research, when we understand this music it makes our mind more creative.

2. Music helps in reducing the stress and tension

Sometimes when we are at a high level of stress/tension we used to hear music atleast for sometime to make our mind relaxed and calm down. That time when we hear music we neither think about anything , sit idle close our eyes and listen to music makes us feeling more relaxed .

3. Music makes learning more pleasant

Music is a good option to learn new things quickly because it helps in developing the capabilities of memory.In primary classes children learn poems quickly because they enjoy music in it which is very enjoyable to them. They learn it quickly and preserve it in their memory .

4. Music makes us creative

Music has the power to improve our listening and understanding ability. When we hear a song, we tries to understand it's lyrics and tries to make out what the singer wants to convey through song. When we hear an instrumental music, we use our brain to understand the meaning it tries to figure out without using words.It makes our mind more artistic.

5. Music has the power to change the world.

Music has the capacity to express one's feelings.Music helps in reducing our mental pressure and makes us more creative. It relieves our tension and makes our mind feeling relaxed .

During a function of party , instrumental music is even played to enhance the festival mood of the occassion. People dance, and enjoys by listening music because it relaxes their mind

Sound engages audiences and so sound is very important. Sound helps in delivering information such as conveying a message, it increases the production value, it also used to indicate the mood. A sound is a form of energy which translocates through matter.Sound is important because it tell us place, time, character etc.

Importance of sound

1. For communication

The main form of communication for humans and animals is sound . Humans communicate each other by using verbally spoken language whereas animals make sounds to communicate each other. Humans use telephones or mobile phones for communicating their words. These sound information is catching by ears and process it . We express sound as words, annoying, shouting, laughing, expressive tone, crying etc.

2. Music

Without sound, there is no music from music system. So music relies on sound . Music is a sound in a controlled and fine tuned manner. Music helps in conveying the message, helps in reducing stress and tension. Music relies on frequency and pitch of the voice.

3. Echo

Echo is a reflection of sound arriving back to the point of emission. it a type of sound resonance. When we make a sound in an empty building we can feel the sound is reflecting back which is called echo.

4. To find out the depth /distant objects

Sound waves are one of the means to measure the depth of the seas . Also some objects at a long distance can be found out by sound waves .

5. Sterilization

Ultrasound is done to inhibit the growth of microbes and can kill them.

6. Communication by telephone

One of the best discovery of human. It receives the sound waves from the sender , process it and conveys the message to the receiver.
