Describe the structures in order from largest to smallest from the heart to the capillary beds and back to the heart:
Blood is carried to all parts of body from Heart via different blood vessels. An artery is a blood vessel that carries blood away from the heart. It branches into small arteries, arterioles and then into tiny capillaries. Capillary is the place where exchange of nutrients and wastes takes place at various organs of body. Then blood from them collected by exite capillaries, venules and finally to heart by Vein.
There are 2 different circulations in body. those are systemic and pulmonary circulations. Pulmonary circulation provides oxygenated blood to heart and there after systemic circulation carries the same blood from heart to body parts.
Blood gets oxygenated and purified in lungs and moves to heart via pulmonary vein. Then heart pumps that same blood to body parts via main artery. The main artery divides into Hepatic artery which supplies blood to Liver, Renal artery which supplies blood to Kidneys, Intestinal arteries which supplies blood to intestine, lower arteries which supplies blood to lower body parts. Again the blood will be collected from body parts by veins such as hepatic vein, renal vein and other veins. All these veins gets into Vena cava which connects to heart. Heart pumps this impure blood to lungs for purification via pulmonary artery.
