As the marketing manager of a herbal company, i have to make plans for the new herbal tea brand produced by our company.
a. One most important maketing objective or goal concerned with this product is to maintain the health of the customers by providing them with herbal tea that has no negative impact on the health of the customers. This product will help the company grow it's business and achieve its overall goal of producing herbal products with a view to protect the health of its customers.
b. The strategy made by the company to meet its selected marketing objective of taking care of the health of the customers is that the tea leaves produced should be herbal and containing all ingredients rich in antioxidants and other minerals enhancing the health of the customers. Producers should make sure that their marketing strategy should be enough good to sattract customers do that they buy more and more products and understand the benefit of this tea.
Tea leaves produced would be such that they contain nicotine in less amount that would have less affect on the health of the customers. This is the the strategy behind the product.
c. Tactics to be deployed to support the strategy are :
d. The market segment to be selected for this particular product will be people above 40 years of age or falling in the age group of old people.
The main reason behind targeting this segment is that the people belonging to this age group are more addicted to tea as well as they are the only age group which are mostly surrounded with health problems. Thus, selecting this market segment would help eliminate various health problems to a great extent as well as thus herbal tea will reduce their stress and would also reduce of their being prone to various chronic disease.
Thus, this is the reason behind selecting this segment.
