Here is My Research Topic: Secondhand Smoke and Health outcome in Young Children with Cystic Fibrosis.
Please help me answers these questions using research articles and cite them.
Background and epidemiologic data
What do the data show with regard to the environmental health issue?
Have the rates or percentages of people with the problem change overtime?
Are there high-risk populations?
Describe the target population (who)
Describe the data by place and time? (where, when)
Include a table, map, or graph to show the prevalence of the problem.
Is public health action warranted?
Causes/Determinants of the Health Issue/Problem
What are the causes/determinants of the health issue? Determinants can range from genetics, behavior, environmental and physical influences, to medical care and social factors.
Are all income and racial/ethnic groups equally affected? Any disparities with regard to the environmental health issue?
What happens if we do nothing (the consequences) in terms of morbidity, disability, and mortality?
*Second hand smoke~indoor air pollution~reduce the lung function~difficult to breath and occurance of more sinus infections ~shorthening of life span of child. *Yes, the rate or percentages of people with the problem change overtime. *Yes, there is a high risk population - children with cystic fibrosis *THE CHILD WITH CYSTIC FIBROSIS: -There is a main problem in child with cystic fibrosis is reduced weight gaining due to more calories is needed for ther breathing process and resistant to diseases. -It is a genetic mutation disorder because they are suffering from pancreatic malabsorption, reduced pulmonary function which may leads to shortening of life span of the children.
