You continue to explain the differences between the levels of prevention and give them another example. You describe the policy of testing new employees in the healthcare workforce for tuberculosis (TB) and they correctly guess that it is which level?
1. The different levels of prevention are :- primary prevention ,secondary prevention and tertiary prevention.
primary prevention means prevent the onset of prevention before the diseses process starts. example:-vaccination is one of the best thing to prevent any infection before it comes.
secondary prevention include early diagnosis and treatment of diseases. example:- regular screening at least once in year, regularly checking blood pressure to identify hypertention condition.
Tertiary prevention helps to prevent the impact of ongoing illness. example :- insulin therapy for type 2 DM
2. The policy of testing include screening ,signs and symptoms review documentation of screening reports. A new employee in the health care workforce for testing TB they belongs to secondary prevention.
