Cortisol is known as the stress hormone , when there is any threat or the stress in the personal life thre is release of the cortisol hormne in the body to make the pesrson restfulness.

Studies reveal that in the stess there are the cases of the weight gain, specially belly fat due to anxiety and its seen that there is decrease in the level of hormones leptin and ghrelin hormones that are known as the fat cutter hormones.

Hence it is highly required to keep the Cortisol levels under control, while keeping the Leptin levels up.

To manage the above condition there is need to take a proper diet with low cholesterol like keep away from the potato chips and other fast foods and canned foods (as in case of anxiety people take it often), along with the proper excercise.

Take a proper and quality sleep.

Take low glycemic index foods.

involve youself in the social activities.
