What role does population growth play in the degradation of the
environment both in developed and developing countries?
Abstract - This study tells about the impact of population growth on the environment in both developed and developing countries. We can see how there two type of countries have different type of population growth and how. Later to explanation about how to decrease this growth has given.
Explanation - Population growth is a great issue nowadays. The world's total has reached more than 7.5 billion. Which is really a huge number. Everyone needs 3 basic things to live. These are shelter, food and cloth. For this he/she is dependent on others. For land need we are taking crop fields, so that the amount of crop field is decreasing. But anyhow we have to mitigate the hunger of this world, that's why we are using advanced pesticides for better agriculture knowing that these are not good for our health. Also by deforestation we are disturbing the ecosystem and by deforestation global warming is increasing. So not that population is growing simultaneously so many natural things are disappearing. Which is not good for the ecosystem.
Just imagine one thing due to higher industrialisation, automobiles, deforestation greenhouse gas concentration is growing. Above all those are causing by man to lead a sophisticated life. As the greenhouse gas concentration is increasing global warming occurs. Due to global warming polar ice melts which will cause the sea level rise. Which is a threat to us.
We can decrease this growth rate by educating the peoples. We can see that the growth rate is less in developed countries whereas more in developing countries. Because in developed countries the peoples are educated. Second thing we can do that every government should put a restriction like no one can have more than 2 kids. Like this this can be controlled.
Conclusion - Population growth is really a serious issue which should be taken seriously by government. It should take the above steps to decrease the growth rate otherwise it will become a problem for the whole world.
