In my view there is huge impact of EHR (electronic health record) technology of maintaining the long term database of the patient related informations in the healthcare organizations. This should be adopted on the large scale in the healthcare industry to store, asses and retrieve the patient information data when required during the data analysis and to make the final conclusions.

The patient data is very crucial now a days at the same time there are so many cases of the data leaking hence there is requirement of very rigid and confidential system to protect these data as per ethical concerns. The EHR reduces the chances of the medical errors as it provides all the information regarding the patient’s history.

As EHR improves the medical practice management hence it effectively reduces the required efforts of the staffs along with the reduction of the cost in the health care delivery. Furthermore it reduces the transcription cost as well as re-filing costs in the healthcare organizations.

It reduces the manpower resources as based on the computer system. It is very time saving system.

These saves data are the integrated parts of the public health systems like registries and other national communicable disease databases.

Moreover it enables the easier access of the informations, and can store the various pathological test reports for the future references. Hence enables the staff to work more specifically for the therapy and avoid the unnecessary test, thus reduces the cost of the therapy.

These saves data are the integrated parts of the public health systems like registries and other national communicable disease databases, hence should be stored more confidentially as per medical ethics.
