ANOVA  is a statistical method that separates observed variance data into different components to use for additional test. A one-way ANOVA is used  for three or more groups of data, to gain information about the relationship between the dependent an independent variables.one-way ANOVA, which is used when we have two or more independent groups. Specifically, the one-way ANOVA determines if there is a difference in any of the group level means. Given that the analysis can also be used for two independent groups

when you want to test a particular hypothesis, the ANOVA to help you understand how your different groups respond, with a null hypothesis for the test that the means of the different groups are equal. ANOVA tests the relationship between a categorical and a numeric variable by testing the differences between two or more means.
