Interview with nurse practitioner may be as follows
The general background includes graduation or post graduation in nursing with practitioner specialisation.
Empathy, sensibility, sincerity, honesty , loyalty are the main qualities or characteristics a nurse possess.the profession made the nurses to be kind hearted and empathetic.
As a leader always I motivate myself to support the fellow nurses and to educate them, encourage them and support them for the betterment of health care process and to keep smiles on lives.
Nursing is really a different and challenging profession. The nurse as a single person has to play different roles and she will have many responsibilities.she should act as a nurse, advocate, counsellor etc.The roles and responsibilities were increasing incredibly day by day.
In the next five years ,we can see a remarkable shortage of nurses, that would give an impact on healthcare.Because of work overload and other reasons we can expect the nurses shortage.
It is not only a single nurse responsibility,it is each and everyone s responsibility to express our concern and ask for adequate staff and other requirements for the smooth functioning of health care sector.
Learning is a continuous process.I do enjoy to learn and even to teach.mentoring is really a challenging job as the mentees were new and it's the mentor whole responsibility to teach the mentees.
The mentor should be capable of teaching correctly and regular follow up required to evaluate them. They should be trained in a way that they should act promptly in any situation
Continuing both as a mentor and a nurse is really a good thing.but I like to be as a nurse and I like to save many lives which puts smiles on every ones face.
