Kurt's Lewin change theory has three changes in the process. They are

1. unfreeze

This include identification of the needs. old ideas are kept side and new idea used

2. change

Implementation of new ideas, perform in a new way. This is the time period for confusion, despair, disorientation.

3. Refreeze

The new way of doing the interventions are aligned with other organization.

Application to FNP

1. Unfreeze

FNP is the family nurse practitioner in which they work for a whole family member outside the hospital. There is a need to educate properly, need to have more skills, needs of safeties, need of good family members to look after them, need for counseling courses, communication techniques, needs to understand each age group treatment and intervention.

2. change

FNP changes the needs by doing proper training, attending counseling programs, contact with agents to get the patient or good family to maintain safeness.

3. Unfreeze

By using all this knowledge and skill the FNP started working and keep on contact with agents to get patients.

Apply in advance practice registered nurse

1. Unfreeze

The need for advanced nurse practice registered nurses are social needs, educational needs, life changes need. Social needs include support from the family members, friends, neighbors. Educational needs include the proper handling of the equipment used in the critical area and patient handling with different conditions. Life changes include daily activities, reduce workload, stress, etc.

2. Changes

- provision of frequent interaction with society to increase trust and learn how to communicate. Traning programs to learn all the equipment and frequent practice in the hospital critical area. Perform exercise, meditation, and play.

3. Refreeze

- the nurse use her knowledge and skills in the critical area to serve the needed pateint. Improved the proper communication with the family member, patient family member, society. Everyday doing exercises and meditation, the stress level also reduced and changed the life style.
