Solutions

Expert Solution

The local environment comprises of air, climate ,land ,water ,ecology, biodiversity and human environment.

Air & climate- air quality and climate( temperature, dust)

Land- landscapes ,landforms about erosions

Water- Ground water , surface water and river water quality

Ecology ,plant and animal life- Including marine life

Human environment- Agriculture, noise& light pollution ,community health

All these factors should be considered in the local environment before starting projects.

Because of construction and civil works , accidents may also occur and the impact may be on the local environment by temporary reduction of air quality by dust , any gaseous emissions and particles. The land may also get eroded and change of land forms happen due to ground levelling and clearing the place . The water quality including ground, surface may get changed .Measures should be taken in monitoring the water quality and also in preserving it as water is very essential for humans. Access roads formation,
Forms of transport and equipment use ,trench or hollow formation and earthworks for civil works ,waste disposal during construction
Unexpected events like spills, leaks and solids disposal all pollute and affect the biodiversity and ecology. The local environment has more impacts on community health and safety. The noise &light pollution caused by construction work may lead to many health problems and affect the ecosystem.

Select one screening tool (NOT an assessment tool) that you use in clinical practice or have observed a colleague from another discipline using. If this is not possible, review the literature and select a screening tool that is relevant to FNP practice. Research the important parameters of this tool: sensitivity, specificity, reliability, and validity. If you do not currently use any screening tool, select one that would be appropriate to your practice as an FNP. Create a one-page summary about...
