Purposiveness
There is purpose to the research as it ix very relevant in finding out the solution to the lack of usage of the MIS by the managers.
Rigor:
There could have been a better research design for this in terms of
the rigor. There should have been extensive literature review done
on previous studies conducted by this firm as well as by the other
similar firms that have had a similar management system installed.
The questionnaire should also be better framed in a structured
manner.
Testability:
The hypothesis is not clearly stated to the testability is
questionable. The study seeks to find out what the reasons for the
lesser usage of the management system are, but does not state an
explicit hypothesis claiming to see the explicit impact of one
factor on the usage of the sysem
Replicability:
Given the research method is more qualitative, it might be possible
to replicate the research in terms of the methodology, but as with
the result of the research, it might not be possible to replicate
the same result, as it can be seen that the reasearch method is not
well formulated, and a well formulated research method for the same
problem might lead different resutls.
Precision and confidence:
There is not much precision in the research method that has been
used in this case. The research method and the questionnaire are
framed with lack of backing from literature review. Hence, it is
very much possible to get better results from a better and more
regressive review of lietarture from better sources than just
google scholar.
Objectivity:
The research can also improve on its objectivity. The research
question focuses on what the reasond for the lack of usage are.
Instead, the research can try to identify some of the reasons that
might affect usage, and then check to see to what extent does each
of those factors affect uage for the currenct group of employees.
This way, the researcher will not leave out any essential factor
that has to influence the usage.
Generalizability :
It is applied by scientists in a scholarly setting. It very well
may be characterized as the augmentation of examination discoveries
and decisions from an investigation directed on an example populace
to the populace on the loose.
