list in ascending order the levels of hierarchy of complexity. define each level and provide an example for each.

Solutions

Expert Solution

According to complexity there are following levels -

  1. Atoms
  2. Molecules
  3. Orgenelle
  4. Cells
  5. Tissue
  6. Organ
  7. Organ system
  8. Organism
  9. Population
  10. Community
  11. Ecosystem
  12. Biosphere

1. Atoms are the simplest from of the matter. Like Hydrogen, Carbon.

2. Molecule - Molecules are composed of two or more atoms. Like DNA, RNA, Proteins.

3. Orgenelle - these are structures whuch perform different actions like Mitochondria.

4. Cell - is smallest structure that posses all the functions performed by livings. It is basic unit of life.

5. Tissue - it is a group of similar type of cell that perform same function.

6. Organ - various types of tissue that works in organised way. Like Heart.

7. Organ system - different organs that works in integrated way. Like Muscular system, skeletal system.

8. Organism - different organ system forms an individual called organism.

9. Population - all the individual of a species at a time at a place form the population.

10. Community - Various populations at a place form the community.

11. Ecosystem - It is the system composed of biotic and abiotic components interacting.

12. Biosphere - it is the largest Ecosystem that exist like earth.

Kelly Define cognitive complexity and cognitive simplicity. Then provide real-life examples of: 1) a high complexity person and 2) a high simplicity person. Kelly’s theory states that constructs must be dichotomous—why do they have to be dichotomous? How do we choose between the two alternatives offered by a construct? In addition to being called a “Cognitive Psychologist,” Kelly has also been linked to the “Constructivist” Perspective. Research the Constructivist perspective and write a 200-word essay which defines constructivism and states...
