Solutions

Expert Solution

L. acidophilus is a probiotic bacteria which resides in human intestine, mouth and vagina. It is mostly responsible for maintaining the digestive conditions, producing antibiotic substaces and also maintianing the pH levels in the intestine.

So Option 1 - Balancing gut bacteria is an answer.

Option 2 - Acid reflux is not an answer becasue L.acidophilus controls the acid levels not create acid levels.

Option 3 - Found in the mouth of every normal person, not people with common cold

OPtion 4 - There is no relation to cancer about this bacteria.

2) Lactose is an enzyme which is broken down to lactase by our body for absorbtion. Lactose is mainly found in the milk. So foods containing milk or milk by products are not recommended for lactose intolerant people.

Option 4 Pizza has cheese in it - So this should be avoided

Option 3 red meat. This is a protien food but mostly cooked with butter or cheese. So it is not recommended.

Option 2 - Peanit butter - Contains only peanuts and no diary related. So it is an answer.

Option 1 - Sushi - In many places, sushi is served with eggs and other recipies which are in majority cases cooked with diary products. Sushi byitself is not bad. But in daily life it is cooked and mostly with lactose intoloerant foods. So it should be avoided.

3) We have genomes base pairs in billions. Around 2 to 3 billion. So Option -1 is the right answer. Bazillion is a large number but doesnot specify how large, So better to go with option -1

4)Bio materials can be made with all the possible listed elements. We have a whole field of material science which talls about different bio materials like bio ceramics, bio plastics and bio glass. So Option -1

5)Normally an auto - immune disease can not differntiate between the foriengn cells and own cells and can release certain antibodies to fight your own cells.

So Otion -4 is the right answer
