in "the 400 blows" film What role does the cinema play in Antoine Doinel's life?
In the film "The 400 blows" Antoine Doinel is a teenager going through hardships. His mother and step father doesn't care and love him as they should. At school he is typed as a trouble maker by his teachers. Lack of attention, care and love make him defiant and involve in petty crimes. When the troubles of life seemed to much for him he escaped from them, and one of the way that he choose to escape was watching movies. Thus, cinema was a way to get rid of his troubles for sometime in Antoine Doinel's life .
