What is Decoupling and Line of Visibility? - How does this play a role in process effectiveness?
Decoupling- it takes place when different asset classes start to move in opposite direction and they rise and fall together, like increase in one result into decrease in other. For example- oil and natural gas prices, when oil prices increase then natural gas prices decrease or vice a versa. Investors can see decoupling as an opportunity.
Line of visibility- it separates what the consumer can see and interact with, from what they cannot. It is the ability to improve service processes and helps in identifying new opportunities for the business.
Both can be the opportunities for the business and plays an important role in process effectiveness. They help company to strike right balance between risk mitigation and cost efficiency which results into effectiveness of the process. They allow for more effective and efficient scheduling of each process stage and make it effective.
