What role does quality assurance play in Lean Operations?
Quality assurance can be understood as an important aspect of lean and therefore we can say that it allows a lean operation the ability to document the requirements that would be needed to be fulfilled by a processor material in order to meet the best possible aspect of aligning with the requirement to the system.
It allows us to determine the characteristics that need to be present and therefore, we can say that it helps in the aspect of waste reduction of both times, material and processes.
We can say that it would be necessary to create an understanding of the processes, people and their skills, qualities as well as the required quantity. It can be considered as a method which helps us specify the required service level in order to fulfill the requirements of performance and therefore, can be considered as the backbone of any lean system.
