To help the elder orphans stay at home there can be some strategies adopted. They can make use of home care services.
Home care services help address many of the concerns faced by elder orphans, including
:Physical assistance with everyday tasks, housekeeping, daily grooming, and/or transportation
Mental reminders in the case of cognitive decline or dementia.
Companionship to address the emotional challenges of aging.
Planning in advance
One of the biggest and most immediate concerns faced by elder orphans is fairly obvious: finances. Without the support of children or other family members, the financial burdens faced by elder orphans can be much greater than those faced by other retirees.
Planning for a small saving scheme to help people when they are retired will be of greater help.
Seeking support from other than family
Support can be availed from friends, clubs, churches etc.that the elder attend to. This can help to maintain independance.
These are all certain measures to help elder orphans to stay at home without family support. The government can also develop meticulous plans to track and help elder people by extending community services also.
