• The institute's extramural programme supports thousands of research project grants at institutions across the country.
• Institutional training grants and individual fellowship supports hundreds of scientist in training and provide career awards that offer a range of research experience and support for faculty members at various levels
• Forming patients non profit organisations: ln intention to provide information nationally , not for profit organisation that offers valuable assistance to patient and their families.
• Formation of professional societies: neuroscience and neurology related professional societies. E.g. American brain foundation, American association of neurological surgeons.
• Government resources: the purpose is to provide information useful to individuals nationally and for this reason there is no inclusion of local groups that offer valuable assistance to patients and families within limited geographic area.
