One of the major problems that can affect families and can have a huge impact on the structural foundation of the family is a communication gap that has been a common problem for many of the individuals living in families in the modern day to day life. The reason behind this communication gap has to do with psychological gaps in terms of intellect and thinking patterns which lead to beliefs which are contrary in nature, it can also be caused because of social factors such as not being able to understand the way of living of a younger person because they do not comply with the norms that were followed in the previous years when they were young. A communication gap can have a huge impact on the structural identity of the family and if the problem is addressed with effective measures then it will help in supporting different kinds of difficulties that may develop within a particular family.
