1.Difference between inpatient and outpatient facilitiesare:-

Inpatient facilities - in this kind of facility the patient is admitted for a day or number of days depending upon the severity of the disease for the medical care.

Outpatient facility - in this kind of service the patient does not need any hospital stay ,they get the treatment on opd basis . The patient comes to the hospital and after consultanting and getting the treatment go back to their homes.

2. Public hospitals- public hospitals are owned by government where any category of patient can come and get the treatment. It is funded by the government. The treatment is provided free of cost .

Private hospital - are those which are owned by a company for profit ,funded by the payments made by patients for the services by themselves, by private health insurance companies, by government health insurance programs etc.

Voluntary hospital - a private non profit organizations which are funded by individual, partnership, corporate sector to provide services to patients free of cost.

3. FORTIS ESCORSTS HOSPITAL is the nearest hospital from my home. It is a private hospital ,where patients come to take treatment and pay for their services. It has both outpatient and inpatient services . Outpatient services are also in the evening shift . It provides emergency care, 24 ×7 . It is a multi speciality hospital which provides medical , surgical , renal ,oncological, dental , orthopedic, ENT , gynaecological , pediatric care etc. It is run by a profit making company and is funded by the payment made by patients for the services they receive by themselves,by private health insurance,by government health programs. It takes referral from government hospitals of patients who are under employee health scheme or ESI and the charges for their services are reimbursed.
