The basic difference between public and private facilities are that private facilities are not operated by the government and it is not at all accountable to the public, instead it is providing facilities in order to generat6e revenue so that they can incur profit from teh same. In case of public facilities they are gnerally op[erated by the government and it is accountable to the punlic and formulated for the public's use. While financing sport facilities the private and public funding plays a role because in case of private financing the quality of the products are better than in public facilities but teh cost will be more because the organization is here to do business unlike the public facilities. I believe that the government shoudl be playing an impoprtant role here so that they can ensure quality products at a lower cost by public facilities so that the sportsmen can catually do better for the nation in various platforms.
