Globalisation and free trade might have changed the distribution of labor and communities over the long run, however, in the short run it has benefited the developing countries and less developed countries by opening up ocean of opportunities for those who weren't employed previously. Globalisation and free trade in the short run have definitely decreased the rate of unemployment as more workers migrated from developing nations to more developed nations. It, therefore, contributed to economic growth.
