Describe the basic STRUCTURE and FUNCTION of the Lymphatic system
THEY LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
This is the system when the blood reach the capillaries and the part of its fluid when passes into the surrounding tissues as tissue fluid and this tissue fluids and these fluids re enter the capillaries end specifically at the venous end through the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system in our body collected the tissue fluid and ultimately lead it to the large vessel like the thoracic duct of our body . This specific thoracic duct is the structure that drains the lymph into the blood stream
The LYMPHATIC SYSTEM has many lymph ducts as well as many lymph nodes that are scattered all along the LYMPHATIC SYSTEM. They specifically act as a filter in removing the bacteria from lymph.
There collection of the lymphoid tissue occur in many regions called the
The lymph nodes are the small and bean shaped structure in the lymphatic system. And has an outer Cortex and an inner medulla . There are the endothelial lined spaces called sinus that are present in the lymph nodes .
Function of the LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
It maintains the balance of fluid between the blood as well as tissues, which is known as the as fluid homeostasis.
They forms part of the body's immune system as well as helps in defending against bacteria and other intruders.
It specifically facilitates in the absorption of fats as well as the fat-soluble nutrients in the digestive system
